In 2017 GJD won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, this is the highest accolade for international business success. GJD has also achieved many other security industry awards like the BSIA’s contribution to exporting.

Meet the team
Our team is comprised of passionate individuals who are all striving to the same lofty goals.
Mark is an Electronics Engineer with international success in developing innovative security products, change management, exporting, new business development and in growing the profitability of Engineering and Manufacturing businesses. In 2017 GJD won the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade, this is the highest accolade for international business success.
Keith has a BSc (Hons) degree in Physical Electronics and a post graduate MSc in Optoelectronics, specialising in IR lasers and particle light scattering. He has over twenty five years experience in the Fire and Security industry. Also, five year’s experience working in South Korea for LG Electronics. In his spare time he enjoys restoring MG sports cars and is also a volunteer with the ‘Bluebird Project’ restoring and maintaining Donald Campbell’s famous K7 jet hydroplane.
Ana has an LLB (Hons) Law & Italian degree from Cardiff University and speaks fluent Spanish, Italian & French. Having worked in the fire and security industry for 28 years, Ana has extensive experience in strategic planning, international sales & marketing and has led a number of award-winning campaigns, including GJD being awarded the prestigious Queen’s Award for Enterprise in International Trade. Ana is currently Vice Chairman of the British Security Industry Association’s Export Council.
Paul Tibbenham is the Vice President of Business Development at GJD Manufacturing Inc. Prior to this Paul served as a Trainee Manager and Sales Coordinator at GJD. He is a BSc (Hons) graduate from Leeds Metropolitan University. Two interesting facts about Paul are that he has also worked as a camp counsellor at Camp Takajo, and he was once interviewed live by Sky News!
Greg is an experienced Business Development Manager. With 17 years of experience in the security industry, Greg provides external detection and LED lighting systems to consultants, installers and distributors. Greg has also been an active member of the BSIA CCTV Section and Export Council Section committees. Greg has managed the security specifications in many prestigious locations for high-end and classified security projects. He has a keen interest in charitable work and has raised funds for multiple good causes.
Neil is the Technical Sales Manager. With over 27 years of experience in the security industry starting out as an apprentice engineer, His valuable knowledge and skill sets in CCTV, external perimeter protection, intruder equipment, security lighting systems and access control. He has a keen eye for detail and is able to use his expertise and product knowledge to specify robust security solutions.
Stephen serves as a key link between the customer, external sales team, purchasing, production and finance. As one of the longest serving members of staff, he started with the company in a temporary sales role when it was based in Bolton and stayed with GJD when it relocated to its current site at Heywood. Stephen furthered his qualification from a HND to upper second-class degree in Business Studies. He is an excellent team player and is crucial to the success of the company.
Fay has a degree in Russian and German from the University of Nottingham and also speaks fluent French. Fay joined GJD in 2018 as an Internal Sales Executive. Previously working in a leadership role at a large security manufacturer, Fay has a wealth of knowledge and sales experience with a proven track record of facilitating long-term relationships with UK and International customers.
Gary joined GJD in 2018 as a Technical Support Advisor. He has worked in the security industry for over 22 years and has extensive experience in the design, installation and maintenance of GJD’s security equipment. Previously, Gary had an internal technical sales role at a global security company. This included training internal sales teams across Europe and South Africa. He has also worked in a variety of technical leadership roles for the NSI, Bafe and SSAIB accredited security installation companies.
Chris initially started on a two-month temporary role in 1988 and he is the longest serving member of staff. His technical background in electronics, research skills, computer proficiency and security knowledge has made him an integral part of the company. Chris has had a variety of roles within the R&D department, including taking new product ideas, creating the design, building prototype units and testing.
