Commenting on the show itself and the feedback received, GJD’s Managing Director Mark Tibbenham stated, “This exhibition provided us with the ideal opportunity to introduce ourselves as a company approved by ADT, Secom and Chubb amongst others and to showcase all our existing products. Included here was our comprehensive range of BS8418 compliant, award winning D-Tect movement detectors and CCTV triggers which have been proven in numerous applications to minimise false alarms and provide reliable, robust performance. Much interest was also shown in our Opal Elite detectors now widely recognised as being one of the most innovative, flexible and cost-effective external PIR Motion Sensors currently available. Completing the picture, our range of individual zone management controllers capable of triggering floodlights or infrared illumination control and also activating individual CCTV cameras, DVR’s, pagers and other alarm warning devices confirmed to many our unique ability to service every aspect of any security system.”
One aspect of GJD’s equipment which received very favourable reaction was the unique ability of the units to be electronically adjusted at any time, providing maximum flexibility, ease of operation and freedom from spurious “triggering”. This feature was considered by many visitors to GJD’s booth to be of great interest, offering significant advantages.
Concluding his appraisal of the show, Tibbenham stated; “We commenced activities in export markets several years ago and have witnessed exponential, sustained growth year on year since. We view S.E. Asia market of significant importance to us as a part of our overall strategy to become a global supplier of a comprehensive range of high quality security products offering outstanding performance and value for money. The three day Singapore exhibition held over Sept 30th to Oct 2nd permitted us to share our vision with existing and new clients, demonstrate existing and new products, and gain a wide appreciation of the needs and direction of the security business in the region. It also permitted us to formally appoint a S.E. Asian representative who will be based in Singapore and bring our products to the attention of users throughout the region. As such, it was a resounding success for GJD and one we will be keen to repeat when the show is next hosted.”
