Internal Sales Executive

Spending your time in the GJD office, you will be a crucial part of the sales and marketing function, helping to support activity and growth. Communicating with customers, you will need to be comfortable in dealing with day to day issues arising in a busy office.

Responsibilities for this Role will include:

  • Processing inbound sales orders and shipping, including export orders
  • Dealing with email/telephone customer enquires in a timely manner
  • Liaising with GJD warehouse regarding customer orders
  • Data management
  • Supporting external sales and office teams
  • Making regular contact with UK distributors and installers
  • Developing and maintaining relationships with our customers
  • Identifying buying patterns and discussing additional opportunities with customers
  • Challenging orders where necessary to add value and save time and money for customers
  • Prospecting Installation companies, identifying opportunities for GJD products and making appointments for the external sales team where appropriate
  •  Liaising with the Technical team to follow up calls and agree next actions

For this position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:

  • Computer literate – strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint
  • Understanding of customer database, CRM systems
  • Excellent telephone & communication skills
  • Great relationship builder
  • Numerate
  • Flexible and confident
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Security Industry experience an advantage
